Resume Cover Letter Example - Which One is the Best?

First, and most important, a resume cover letter must show clearly and distinctly the stand the applicant takes towards securing employment and towards the company. You may want a job and need a job, but as a rule of thumb, you will not be hired for reasons of want or need. Rather, you must suit flawlessly and appropriately into the machine of your prospective employer's organization.

There are a great number of examples around, too - but how will you know which one is the best? Let us discover the key points that should comprise an excellent letter:

1. It must state your desire about a certain position. Make your employer immediately acquainted with the fact that you are interested in applying for the position. Bring to his attention where you got the information and make certain that your opening sentence is definite, brief, and interesting.

2. It must state your suitability for the job. This should comprise mainly of two most important points, your background education and your professional experience.

3. It must state a brief, striking yet humble statement about yourself. A concise description of who you are, why you're suited for the job and other personal data relative to your age, status and other pertinent information should be stated.

4. It must end with a guaranteed action. As few employers are more than keen to hire a candidate until they have an opportunity to appraise personal and professional qualifications, you as an applicant should primarily, as a rule, end your resume cover letter with a request for an interview, rather than for the job itself.
